He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clarke and Mae Bowen Clarke; his brothers, Robert "Bob" and Charles "Bud" Clarke, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Robert and Florence Smith; and his brother-in-law Alan Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen A. Clarke (Smith) of Elm Street; his children, Laurie A. Clarke, Richard F. Clarke, Jr., Kathleen M. Gilson and Jeffrey A. Clarke; his grandchildren, Brandin, Ryan and Kaitlin; his great grandchild Ty; his children-in-law, Barrie Gilson and Soraya Clarke; his sisters-in-law, Audrey Smith, Jan Cipolla and Mary Clarke of Cape Cod; his granddaughter-in-law Sydney Hudson; Patrick Falcone III. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Dick's memory be made to the American Heart Assoc. and American Kidney Foundation.
