He is survived by : his son Richard Sorensen (Laura); his grandchildren, Madeleine of Simsbury, CT, Stephen of Simsbury, CT and Nicholas of Simsbury, CT; his daughter Kristine; his son-in-law Joseph Gillette; his grandchildren, Kari, Patrick Clarke, David and Missy Ploszaj; his great grandchild Emmett (Jack Ploszaj) of Manchester, CT; his former life partner Sandra Sorensen of Avon, CT.; his sister Linda Christina; and also Carter Jean of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
