With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Rooney of Westerly, Rhode Island, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Francis N. Rooney D. M. D.; and her parents, LeRoy Bulley and Argentine Bulley (Gendron). She is survived by : her daughters, Maureen A. Rooney of Westerly, Lisa M. Zinser (Ken) of Charlestown, RI and Linda J. Rooney of Tampa, FL.; and her grandchildren, Stephen J. Greenwell Jr. (Karen Godfrey) of Katy, TX and Amanda Clifford (Jon) of Richmond, RI. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
