He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Benson and Helen Benson (Andersen); and his sister Beverly Hull. He is survived by: his wife Ida Griffin Benson; his children, Bradley Benson of Westerly, RI and Dacia Lamson (Rob) of Boston, MA.; and his granddaughter Lillian Lamson.
