He was predeceased by : his spouse Liisa Priest (Santti); and his parents, Robert E. Priest and Virginia Priest. He is survived by : his sons, Jared J. Priest (Joann) of Mystic, CT and Justin R. Priest (Robin). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). The military honors was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Wheeler Cemetery.
