He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Omer Sylvestre and Françoise Sylvestre; his siblings, Rev. Ernest, Richard, Raymond Sylvestre and Doris Jacques; and his nephew Andrew Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Susan Swart (Brian), Christine Martin (Adrian) of Colorado, Amy Coderre (James) of Worcester, MA, Laurie Grushey (David), John Sylvestre and Katherine Cummings (Jason); and his great-uncle Bob. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
