He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Whipple and Mildred Whipple; and his siblings, Susan Traphagen and Jay Whipple. He is survived by: his wife Jody Whipple (Collins) of North Stonington, Conn.; his sons, Nathan of North Stonington and Gregory Whipple of North Stonington; his brothers, Jim Whipple of Gales Ferry, Dave Whipple (Ruth) of Florida and Lee Whipple (Shawn) of Bozrah; and his brother-in-law Gary Traphagen of Uncasville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
