With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra E. Andersen (Westerly, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Sandra's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Sandra's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert C. Andersen; her parents, Alfred DePlacido and Carmela "Minnie" DePlacido; and her son Nicholas Andersen. She is survived by: her children, Robert A. Andersen (Alyssa) of Westerly and Elizabeth C. Warner (Robert) of Westerly; her siblings, Alfred DePlacido and Gloria Willis-Barber; and her grandchildren, Isabella, Jack Andersen, Lillianna and Theodore Warner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (45 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
