We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2026, at the age of 81, Sidney B. Tinson Jr. in Westerly, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney B. Tinson Sr. and Patricia O'Neal Tinson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his child Mary-Ellen Gioioso (Gino) of Walpole; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Ashley, Gracey and Gino Jr.; his child Kelly Celico (Joe) of Westerly; his grandsons, Alex and Max; his son Robert Tinson (Ellen) of East Hampton; his grandchildren, Emily and Jack; and his siblings, Albert Tinson of Charlotte and Patricia Brown of Rancho Cucamonga, California.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with countless friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home (121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (111 High St, Westerly, RI 02891).
