He was predeceased by: his father William J. Riley; and his sister Gayla Savage. He is survived by: his sister Brenda Sullivan (Riley); his caregiver Rosemary Riley; his children, Kevin Riley (Marcy), Kelly Riley and Kristen Simmons; his grandchildren, Hannah Young, Sheridan McKenna, Brendan Riley, Hayden Madera, Ryan Simmons and Riley Sorrento; and his great grandchildren, Hadleigh, Killian, Kellan, Callahan, Piper, Poppy, Arlie and Savannah.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tom's charity of choice, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in his memory.
