Vincent’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Nowakowski and Margaret "Monnie" Nowakowski; and his sister Judith Smith of Westerly. He is survived by: his children, Jenette L. Moreau (late Michael), Todd V. Nowakowski (Melanie) and Kariann M. Bernard (James); and his grandchildren, Natalee, Lyla and Reagan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gregg's (4120 Quaker Ln, North Kingstown, RI 02852). The military honors will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to American Legion Post #16 in Westerly, Rhode Island.
