With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Higgins of Westerly, Rhode Island, born in Stonington, Connecticut, who passed away on September 24, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Higgins to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen Higgins (Rea); his parents, Charles E. Higgins and Olive Higgins (Campo); his children, William D. Higgins Jr. (Susan Bruno), Michael J. Higgins M. D. (Susan) and Margaret H. Ritacco (Natale); his grandchildren, Kathryn Higgins, Angela Higgins, Ryan Higgins, Sean Higgins and Natalie Ritacco; his sister Marilyn Pouliot of Pawcatuck, CT; his daughter-in-law Tam Higgins; and his brothers, Charles E. Higgins Jr. and Eugene C. Higgins. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, there are no visiting hours. Burial with Full Military Honors will be private.
