He is survived by: his wife Laura Melvin (Shafer); his children, Liz (Jeff) and Dave of Chicago, IL; his stepchildren, Jessica and Brian; his granddaughters, Victoria and Vivian; and his siblings, David (Leigh), Mick (Linda), Tom (Barbara) and Mary (Steve).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westerly Yacht Club (1 Watch Hill Rd, Westerly, RI 02891).
