He is survived by: his wife Kate Andrea Caoili Quero of Massachusetts; his parents, Stephen Kariuki and Alice Muthoni Nyambura of Woonsocket; his siblings, Jerome Mwaura, Imara Kariuki and Keilani Kariuki; his grandparents, Eunice Kariuki and Stanley Kariuki; and his aunt Esther Mann. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
