The memory of Asuncion Prats of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid adieu to Asuncion's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Asuncion has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Prats and Alicia De Moya (Sanchez); her daughter Iliana Ojeda-Rivera; her brother Joseph Prats; and her stepfather Raymond De Moya.
She is survived by: her children, Francisco Ojeda Jr. (Adele) of Hubbardston, MA, Jeanne of Warwick and Susan Ojeda of Warwick; and her close friend Lola. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and two great great grandsons.
