He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Constance and Lucille; his wife Rita (Moreau); his sons, George III, Brian and Jason; his parents, George E. Fortier Sr. and Jeanette Fortier (Lacquerre); his sister Connie Boisvert (Charlie); his siblings' children, Jeff, Glenn, Mary Beth and Matt; his sister Lue Couture (Jim); his siblings' children, Kristen and Jimmie; his sister-in-law Jeanne Bouchard; his grandson George III; and his children, Ellie, Tess, Nathan, Anna, Elaine and Edward.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (63 Church St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery (63 Church St, Woonsocket, RI 02876).
