Gerard Cournoyer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard Cournoyer of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gerard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gerard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Normand Cournoyer and Doris Cournoyer (Lamontagne); and his brothers, Donald, Emile, Roger and Normand Cournoyer.
He is survived by: his son Benjamin Cournoyer of Providence; and his brothers, Andre Cournoyer of Woonsocket and Robert Cournoyer of Westford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
