It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dodge of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Dodge to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dodge and Alice Dodge (McHugh); and his wife Alice. He is survived by: his daughter Mary (Joe).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Agatha's Church (34 Joffre Ave, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. In retirement, he and his wife Alice traveled; he volunteered his time with the local chapter of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) as well as Meals on Wheels.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to RI Community Food Bank, an organization he supported quietly for years, or St. Antoine's Residence whose staff supported him.
