He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ferdinand Gladu, Sr. and Leona Gladu (Leboeuf); his siblings, Marcel Gladu, Lillian Fleurant, Doris Hoyt and Lorraine Roberts; and his close friend Virginia Menard.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Phaneuf (Gerald) of North Smithfield and Michael Gladu of Burrillville; his grandsons, Jason, Luke and Keith Phaneuf; his great grandchild Cora Phaneuf; and his former wife Antoinette Gladu of Woonsocket. He is also survived by two nieces, and two nephews.
