With sadness, we share the passing of Louise Demers of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Louise passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lionel Glaude; and her child Tracy Girard. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Glaude (Grondines) of Woonsocket; her husband Edward Demers; her children, Joyce Caraman (Girard) of Woonsocket, Richard Girard of Woonsocket and Shannon Girard of Woonsocket; her siblings, Denis Glaude (Jane) of Uxbridge, Susan L'Etoile (Paul) of North Smithfield, Debra Cassidy (Paul Lanoue) of Woonsocket and Barbara Scanlon (Gino) of Woonsocket; her grandchildren, Ashley Martin, Anthony Caraman, Gianna Girard, Joey Caraman, Gabriel Girard and Kayla Gagnon; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Leblond, Abigail Leblond and Julianna Leblond. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews; ten great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895).
