It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Gariepy (Woonsocket, Rhode Island), who passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Gariepy and Herminnie Gariepy (Gravel); her siblings, Conrad Gariepy (Noelia), Theresa Carriere (Roger), Lorraine Fontaine (Rosaire) and Armand Gariepy, Sr. (Carolyn); and her daughter Michele Wasmuth.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lillian Keyser (Harry), Eugene Gariepy (Irene), Gloria Caron (Charlie), Vivian Cavanaugh and Lionel Gariepy, Jr. (Christine); her children, Donald Boucher (Sharon), Valerie Boucher, David Saleme (Roberto), Cindy Hopkins (David) and Henry Gariepy (Erica); and her son-in-law Edwin Wasmuth. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital to honor the memory of Lucille Gariepy.
