It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Normand Parent of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Normand Parent to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Parent and Belva Parent (Brunelle); his son Ralph Parent; his stepson Earl Minot; and his siblings, Raymond, Robert, Leo, Adelbert, Jr., Albert Parent, Yolande Bessette and Theresa Maclure.
He is survived by: his wife Murielle Parent (Belisle); his daughters, Nancy Aubin of Woonsocket and Marilyn Finnegan (Denis) of Clermont, FL; and his stepdaughters, Betty Bibeault (Paul) of Woonsocket and Susan Turcotte of Blackstone. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the RI Fire Chiefs Honor Flight, PO Box 28132, Providence, RI 02908-3700, in honor of the 2018 flight to Washington, DC that Mr. Parent was able to participate in through this organization.
