He was predeceased by: his parents, John Griffin and Pauline Griffin (Marcotte); his wife Claudette Griffin (Richer); and his siblings, John Griffin, Kevin Griffin and Donna Richer.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Griffin and Crissy Griffin; his grandchildren, Acacia and Avery Griffin; his close friend Susan Curtis; and his sister Eileen Prusak.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home (445 Greenville Rd, North Smithfield, RI 02896). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the American Legion (870 River St, Woonsocket, RI 02895).
In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Richard can be made to The Wildlife Organization.
