He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lafleur and Blanche Lafleur (Tellier); his son Jessie Oliveira; and his siblings, Ralph, Ovila, Leo, Jack, Ray Lafleur, Vivian Chamberland and Rita Cote.
He is survived by: his husband George Oliveira of Woonsocket; his children, Denise Nisil (Richard) of Blackstone, Michelle Desrochers of Woonsocket, Christine Lafleur of Woonsocket, Sarina Lafleur of Woonsocket, Secillya Lafleur of Woonsocket, Christopher Palazzo of Woonsocket and Diana Bilodeau of Woonsocket; his sisters, Irene Lafleur of Woonsocket and Vivian Brunelle of Mapleville; his grandchildren, Tabitha, Ricky, Cameron, Steven, Kylee and Hailee; and his great grandchildren, Arianna, Anthony, Amayah, Sean, Vega, Ezra, Boden, Natalia, Alora, Isabella, John Junior, Juliette and Yamaha.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket, RI 02895).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
