He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Somded Surita (Phanvongsa); his parents, Boun Surita and Nang Surita; his children, Airvone Surita, Virasak Surita and Nancy Surita; and his siblings, Soukay Surita and Khamnang Surita. He was also cherished by his five grandchildren.
