He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Bonnon Powell, Sr. and Nancy Harris Powell; his son Brandon Wilson; and his sister Bonnie Jane Powell of Greenwood. He is survived by: his wife Myra Alexander Powell; his daughter-in-law Kerry B. Wilson of Abbeville; and his grandchildren, Brady, Jaycie and Kellar Wilson.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (302 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620). A burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (2699 SC-72, Abbeville, SC 29620).
