She was predeceased by: her father Eli J. Wengerd; her husband William E. "Bill" Masters; her children, William "Eddie" Masters, Jr., Patricia S. Sommers and Betty Lou Hershberger; and her siblings, Henry, Emory Wengerd, Mary W. Nisly and Iva W. Miller.
She is survived by: her mother Martha E. Miller Wengerd; her daughters, Connie Marie Overholt and Cynthia "Cindy" Hershberger (Dwayne); her brother Lonnie Wengerd (Esther); her son-in-law Dave Sommers; and her sister-in-law Nancy Wengerd. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (302 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Whispering Pines Mennonite Church Cemetery (7085 SC-20, Honea Path, SC 29654).
