He was predeceased by : his brothers, John Pursley (Sylvia), Harry Pursley (Alice) and Larry Pursley (Donna); and his parents, James David and Sarah Amy Hedden Pursley.

He is survived by : his wife Ann Leslie Pursley; his daughters, Carol Lynn Goss and Leigh Ann Zikus (Igor); and his grandchildren, Grayson and Caroline Goss.
