He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Roseann Mundy Hill; his father Gabriel Cloud Hill Jr.; and his children, Gabriel C. Hill IV (Danielle), Starr Hill Bennett (Kevin) and Dawn Hill Terte (Mitchell).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (108 E Cambridge Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
