She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Henry and Eva Cann Speer; and her siblings, Beverly Willis, Alice Ashley, Hazel Speer, Baker Speer and Lewis Speer.

She is survived by: her brother Ben Speer (Carol) of Abbeville; her great-nieces, Katie Stone (TJ), Tonya Hughes (Alan) and Tiffany Mills; and her close friend Dawne Hersberger (family: Cindy Simpson, Cecil McFarland, Pam Hanks). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
