She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil'Pete'Ware; her parents, Howard Burton and Sudie Prince Burton; her brothers, Coleman Burdette, Everette, Lynwood, Truman and Harlan Burton; and her son-in-law Danny Hamrick.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hamrick and Bryan C. Ware (Bambi); her brother Howard Sherman Burton; and her grandchildren, Sylvia, Amber (George), Jennifer (Nate), Burt (Claire) and Felicia (Bryan). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
