She was predeceased by: her parents, E. S. Burnett, Sr. and Pearl T. Tallant Burnett; her husband Leo Chapman; and her siblings, E. S. Burnett, Jr., James Burnette, Joseph Dean Burnett, Robert Burnett, Mary Suber, Grace Gilbert and Ann Ruff.
She is survived by: her son Darryl W. Chapman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Abbeville First Baptist Church (307 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620).
