He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Fleming and Hannie Robertson Fleming; his wife Aldean Yon Fleming; his son John Preston Fleming; his sister Betty Fleming Durcan; and his siblings-in-law, Glover Sewell, Sherry Ross Fleming, Josie Fleming and Cheryl Fleming.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Fleming Tavernier (Kurt); his grandsons, Joshua (Meghan), Jared (Kayla) and Jacob Tavernier (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Magnolia, Martha, Jack, Mallie Grace and Harris Tavernier; his siblings, Edna Sewell, Daniel Fleming, Cornelia Powell (Thelton), Nancy Humphreys (Weldon) and Ronnie Fleming; his brother-in-law James Durcan; and his stepchildren, Debbie Moore (Marty) and Lee Price (Rosalyn).
