He is survived by: his children, Doris Settles of North Carolina, Tracy Calhoun (Russ) of Starr, Quantella Foggie of Georgia, Wendy Dawson of Georgia, Tara Dawson of Georgia and Sagnelli Dawson (Dumonder) of Georgia; his siblings, James Groves (Wilma) of Antreville, SC., Marshall McCoppin of Antreville, SC. and Sandra McCoppin-Smith of Antreville, SC.; his sisters-in-law, Edna McCoppin and Shirley McCoppin; his cousin Carolyn McElreath; and his siblings, Linda McCoppin, Arleatha Sutton, Naomi Clinkscales, John Soloman McCoppin, Calvin McCoppin Sr. and Johnnie Ray McCoppin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
