With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelvia J. Evenson of Abbeville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Shelvia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Allen and Myrtis Smith. She is survived by: her pets, Blueberry, Strawberry, Cream Puff and Misha; her husband Eric G. Evenson; her son Richard Crouse; and her grandsons, Philip of Abbeville, SC. and Eric Crouse of Abbeville, SC..
