It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Blanchett of Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Frank Blanchett; and her parents, Clyde Wilson and Elizabeth Hipp Wilson. She is survived by : her children, David Spencer and Kimberly Christopher (Mitch) of Greenwood; her sister Bootsey Edwards (Clifton) of Greer; her grandchildren, Brittney Crawford, Kayla Rhodes (Cody), Jason Blanchett and Laken Harris; and her great grandchildren, Zach Crawford, Logan Blanchett, Nash Rhodes, Helena and Anakin Spearman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Abbeville - Harris Funeral Home (302 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (2699 SC-72, Abbeville, SC 29620).
