She was predeceased by: her husband James Thomas Giles; her parents, Julian Clyde'Bud' and Sallie Mae Payton Scott; her siblings, Julian Leroy Scott and Lucile Scott Wiley; and her grandson Brad D. Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Couch (Steve) of Ware Shoals; her nieces and nephews, Yvette Ruzicka (Dennis) of Anderson, Debra B. McMahan (Bob) of Abbeville, Carol B. Wilson (Randall) of Abbeville, Cathy Burdette of Abbeville, Everette Burdette and Kenneth Scott; and her grandchildren, Trista M. Forhand of Elberton, GA and D. J. Stockman of Ware Shoals, SC. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
