She was predeceased by: her spouse Claude Leroy Simmons; her parents, Clarence Morgan and Grace Smith Morgan; and her sister Sonja Thornley. She is survived by: her son Luke Simmons (Jennifer) of Abbeville; her grandsons, Christopher Simmons (Taylor) and Joseph Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Simone'Quinn' and Emmy Simmons.
