He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dudley'Red'Parnell, Sr. and Irene Underwood Parnell; his daughter Crystal Vaughn; and his granddaughter Kelsey'Glowie'Granger. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Loner Parnell; his daughter Amy Granger (Shane); his siblings, Jimmy Parnell, Jr. (Sharon) of Antreville, Paul Parnell (Kathy) of Antreville and Ann Hutchinson (Kelly) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Kattie Granger Walker (Zach) and Courtney Howell (Dennis Honicutt); and his great grandchildren, Ellie Walker, Lorie Honicutt and Wyatt Honicutt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (302 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Little River Baptist Church (2847 Keowee Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Little River Baptist Church Cemetery (2847 Keowee Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654).
