She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hayne Hodges and Mary Lawton Hodges; her husband Marshall Cain; and her sister Mary Hodges Davis (Jim). She is survived by: her daughter Julie McGill (Tommy); her grandchildren, Thomas (Kylie) and Kennedy (Andrew); her great grandchild Elliot; her grandchild Leandra; her son Marshall (Starr); her grandchildren, Katherine and Sanders; her son David (Sarah); her grandchildren, Madison, Hannah and Titus; her son Stuart (Ellen); her grandchildren, Caleb, Benjamin and Gideon; and her brothers, Robert Hodges (Lady) and David Hodges (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Aiken's First Baptist Church (120 Chesterfield St N, Aiken, SC 29801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorials be given to Aiken First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield St, NE, Aiken, SC 29801.
