It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Ann Washington of Aiken, South Carolina is shared. Barbara Ann, born on November 7, 1966 in Augusta, Georgia, passed away on October 13, 2026. She is survived by: her husband Horace Washington; her children, Nolita Lawton (Anthony), Quaseedra Chavis (Josh), Katea McKie, Porsha Johnson (Shaun), Jasmine Washington, Racheal Washington and Jamal Washington; and her siblings, Catherine Johnson, Elaine Thomas (Eugene), Gwendolyn Owens (Donald), Brenda Young, Pamela Williams (Melvin), Minnie L. McKie, David Washington (Betty), Keith Washington (Chasity) and Adrian Washington (Michelle). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary - Aiken (390 Beaufort St NE, Aiken, SC 29801). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Anna Baptist Church (2612 Banks Mill Rd SE, Aiken, SC 29803). A burial was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at the Old Macedonia Baptist Church (200 Macedonia Rd, North Augusta, SC 29860).
