She was predeceased by: her husband James Derrick; her daughter Darlene Foster; her parents, Levy Poole and Nora Wood; and her siblings, Alberta Dillon, Frank Poole and Calvin Poole.
She is survived by: her close friend Dana Curry; and her caregiver Amber Shaw.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home (715 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
