She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Pfreundner and Jeanne Burke Pfreundner; and her brother Thomas Pfreundner. She is survived by: her husband Karl Steene; her daughter Erika J. Reid of Melbourne, FL; her grandson Rainford Nikolai Reid of Miami, FL; and her sister Christina Cartier of Naples, FL..
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (203 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Southlawn Cemetery (4524 Whiskey Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).
