It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Anne Short (Aiken, South Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Anne Short to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman B. Haffner and Catherine Rever Haffner. She is survived by: her husband Woodrow J. Short; and her grandchildren, Justin Mills, Jacob Uccellini, Isabella Uccellini, Tessa Uccellini, Grace Salsbury (Thomas), Naomi Koncsics, Benjamin Koncsics, Lydia Koncsics and Charlotte Koncsics.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Talatha Baptist Church (361 Talatha Church Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Talatha Baptist Church Missions Fund, 361 Talatha Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
