She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde DeLeon Rhyne Sr. and Chalma Stonestreet Rhyne; her son Charles Stonestreet Lindler; and her brothers, Clyde Rhyne Jr. and Charles "Chuck" Rhyne.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Alvin Lindler Sr. of Aiken; her children, Chalma "Jan" Johnston of North Augusta, Jenifer Parkman (Donald) of Aiken, Alvin "Neal" Lindler Jr. of Jackson, GA, Clyde "Rhyne" Lindler (Lydia) of Aiken and Matthew Lindler (Cheryl) of North Augusta; her brother Dr. Craig Rhyne Sr. (Linda); her sister-in-law Harriet Rhyne of Mount Pleasant; and her close friend Connie Freeman of Beech Island. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great‑grandchildren, one great‑great‑grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 961 Trial Ridge Road, Aiken, SC 29803.
