He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinby Franklin and Maude Day Franklin; and his spouse Jewell Nash. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Franklin (Rachel), Norman Franklin of Ocala, FL, Billy Wayne Nash, Johnny Ray Nash, Jeffery Nash and Judy Taylor; and his sister Donnell Hall.
