He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Fabre Barnes; his daughters, Dr. Cheryl Jeanne Barnes (James Allen Thomas, Jr) of Thomasville and Andrea Barnes Hartwell (Daren) of Oxford, Alabama; his grandchildren, John Albert Roesel, Haley Lynne Hartwell and Hunter Matthew Hartwell; and his brother William Herman Barnes Jr..
