He was predeceased by: his stepson Christopher Pearson of North Carolina; his parents, Glen Wheeler and Brenda Wheeler of Texas; and his mother-in-law Ruth Petrie of North Carolina. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Wheeler (Vicki); his children, Tony Wheeler of Florida, Andrew Wheeler (Shannon) of Texas and Elyse Wheeler of South Carolina; his siblings, Michael Wheeler of New Mexico and Hellen (Terry) of Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Petrie (Kim) of Portugal and Judith Petrie (Michael) of South Carolina. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made in Vince's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
