We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2020, at the age of 77, Ernest Allen of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sterling and Edith Wilson Allen. He is survived by: his wife Anita Allen; his children, Brian Allen (Julie) of Columbia, SC and Traci Hughes (Brad); his grandchildren, Anna Allen, Wade Allen, Leah Allen, Bradley Hughes and Allison Hughes; and his siblings, Dr. Sterling Allen (Jane) and Debbie Shelton (Mike) of Hickory, NC..

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a mask will be required at the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's UMC, 104 Newberry St., NW, Aiken, SC 29801 or to Aiken County Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 3323, Aiken, SC 29802.
