She was predeceased by: her father Howard Linn Edsall; her husband Robert James Whitehouse; and her son Phillip Edsall Whitehouse. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Whitehouse Fisher (Jeffrey), Janet Linn Whitehouse and George Andrew Whitehouse; and her grandchildren, Orson Keyser Whitehouse and Theodora Elizabeth Whitehouse.
